We all know that Heartwarmers makes a difference every time we attend a workshop and make fleece blankets and the other items that are donated to our local non-profit organizations, so it was no surprise that Mary Tomjack organized a special workshop at the Sisters City Hall for the National Make a Difference Day on October 28. This day was made even more special because the CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) program in Central Oregon was selected to be the recipient of the blankets that were created that day.

Thirty four volunteers from Bend, Redmond and Sisters gathered together and made eighteen blankets that are ready to be given to abused and neglected children by their CASA advocate during their first meeting together.
